Korean OPI&VRI Interpreter

Summary

we are seeking qualified and professional medical consecutive Korean interpreters to join our remote interpreter team for OPI and VRI assignments. The selected interpreter will provide accurate, clear, and professional real-time interpretation between English-speaking and Korean-speaking individuals. The interpreter must be able to communicate effectively in both languages while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy throughout each call. Project opportunities are ongoing and long-term based on client demand and interpreter availability. Candidates must possess excellent listening and verbal communication skills, have previous professional interpreting experience, and be able to interpret accurately and naturally in real-time. Applicants are required to have a reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, a computer with a reliable headset, and the ability to follow assigned schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, clear, and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Korean. • Handle remote OPI and VRI assignments professionally. • Interpret accurately and naturally in real time. • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy throughout each assignment. • Follow assigned schedules and client procedures.

Minimum qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional interpreting experience. • Strong Korean and English communication skills. • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills. • Ability to interpret accurately and naturally in real time. • Reliable high-speed internet connection. • Quiet workspace suitable for interpreting. • Computer and reliable headset. • Ability to follow assigned schedules.

Preferred qualifications

• Native Korean speaker preferred. • Previous medical interpreting experience. • Experience with OPI and VRI assignments.

Pay

$5.00 - $6.00/hr
