Summary
We are seeking qualified Mandarin interpreters for remote OPI and VRI assignments supporting hospitals, health plans, and government programs. This opportunity includes scheduled VRI sessions and on-demand OPI with strong, steady weekly volume. Responsibilities
• Provide accurate, clear, and professional interpretation between English and Mandarin. • Handle scheduled VRI and on-demand OPI assignments. • Interpret sensitive healthcare, clinical, and government-related content accurately. • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and strong communication throughout each assignment. • Follow assigned schedules and client procedures.
Minimum qualifications
• Fluent Mandarin and English. • Strong active listening and communication skills. • Ability to interpret accurately in real time. • Reliable high-speed internet connection. • Quiet, professional workspace. • Computer and reliable headset. • Ability to complete required onboarding and documentation.
Preferred qualifications
• Native Mandarin speaker preferred. • Previous medical or healthcare interpreting experience. • Previous OPI and/or VRI experience. • Professional interpreting experience.
