Summary
We are seeking qualified and professional Cambodian (Khmer) interpreters for remote interpretation assignments. The selected interpreter will provide accurate, clear, professional, and confidential interpretation between English-speaking and Khmer-speaking individuals. Opportunities are ongoing based on client demand and interpreter availability.
Responsibilities
• Provide accurate interpretation between English and Khmer. • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy during every assignment. • Interpret clearly and naturally in real time. • Follow assigned schedules and client procedures. • Maintain a quiet and professional workspace for remote interpretation.
Minimum qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of interpreting experience. • Fluent Khmer and English. • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills. • Ability to interpret accurately in real time. • Reliable high-speed internet connection. • Quiet and professional workspace. • Computer with a reliable headset. • HIPAA Certificate. • Interpreting Certificate. • Signed Code of Conduct. • English proficiency at C1 or C2 CEFR.
Preferred qualifications
• Previous medical interpreting experience. • Previous OPI or VRI experience. • Professional interpreting experience.
